Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ClubTier — the website at clubtier.com, the dashboard at app.clubtier.com, and the ClubTier Discord application. By creating an account or adding the bot to a Discord server, you agree to them.

If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

ClubTier verifies that a Discord user controls a given email address, links that person to a record in your CRM or payment provider, and grants or removes Discord roles according to their subscription status. It does not process payments, and it is not a payment provider.

You must be at least 18 and comply with Discord's own Terms of Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for anyone you invite to it.

Only someone with Manage Server permission on a Discord server may connect it to ClubTier. Connecting a server you do not administer is a breach of these terms.

This is the most important clause for anyone running a community, so it is stated plainly.

When your members submit their details through ClubTier, you are the data controller and we are your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that information, for telling your members what you collect and why, and for honouring their requests to access or delete it. We provide export and deletion tools so you can meet those obligations.

You must not use ClubTier to collect special category data — health, biometric, political or religious information — through verification questions.

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, or in breach of Discord's terms or guidelines
• attempt to gain access to accounts, servers or data that are not yours
• reverse engineer the service, or resell it without a written agreement
• circumvent plan limits, or automate access outside documented interfaces
• use the service to send unsolicited messages to community members

We may suspend an account that breaches this clause, and will tell you why unless doing so would prejudice an investigation.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and are quoted exclusive of VAT, which is added where applicable. Plan limits are based on verified members — people who confirmed their email in the preceding 30 days.

You may cancel at any time and your plan continues until the end of the billing period. Payments already made are not refunded except where required by law. If we change prices we will give at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to you.

While ClubTier is in development, accounts are provided free of charge and no payment is taken.

We work to keep the service running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability except where an SLA is agreed in writing on an Enterprise plan. The service depends on Discord and on your CRM or payment provider, and outages in those systems will affect it.

You retain ownership of your data. We retain ownership of the software. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost revenue.

Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

You remain responsible for your Discord server. Role changes are made on your instruction and according to the rules you configure.

You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate for material breach, or with 30 days' notice for any reason. On termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy — export anything you want to keep first.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and the courts of Greece have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of protections available under the law of your country of residence.
